About the car
Finished in dark blue and combined with a beautiful tan interior this is one of the most beautiful example of the Mercedes-Benz 600 we have ever seen.
This Mercedes-Benz 600 W100 SWB 1972A is two owner car originally purchased new in Europe by a German diplomat and later converted to US spec in order to be imported to the USA.
The second owner purchased the car sometime in the mid 80’s and is a Greek Shipping magnate. He kept the car in lovely condition with regular comprehensive maintenance and it was permanently garaged until recently. During the period of his ownership the car has had tens of thousands of pounds spent on its upkeep.
Most recently, in 2010 the previous owner commissioned a New York based restorer to perform a ground-up restoration at a value of over $220,000.
The car is presented today in excellent condition throughout, with its European taxes paid and all the hydraulics and mechanics in good working order.
An ideal car for a Mercedes-Benz collector who is looking for a fine example, offered at £160,000.00
